Optics - Originally equipped with Catoptric 9-2W oil wick lamps in parabolic reflectors with a nominal range of 12 nautical miles, they were carried by bows and hangers from race plates,(the hangers and reflectors were able to operate as gimbals in order to keep the lights as near as horizontal as possible when the vessel pitched and rolled) these could be arranged with different ones fitted to give a different character when the vessel was used at a different station, In 1948 they were replaced with 6 x100v DC 350watt electric lamps with a nominal range of 27 miles , however the rotational gear was left untouched
Fog horn -Originally fitted with a Siren fog signal and later a submarine bell,,
powered by 2 - 15 hp Ruston Hornsby Oil engines nos 6632 &6633,
with Ruston Hornsby 8"x9" compressors.
after conversion around 1948 when she was electrified, fitted with "F" Diaphone with 4 - 5 mile range.

Generators - originaly none, but after conversion in 1948 fitted with 3 x 4.5 kw 100v diesel driven generator sets manufactured by Ruston Hornsby
making the vessel possibly the only light vessel retaining equipment powered by both Oil and Electricity
